Are you interested in Artificial Intelligence? Do you want to learn more about its effects and implications in society?
If you said yes to any of these questions, join our first Speaker Series event of the year on January 15 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM EST!
During this event, Tech Ethics Researcher Fiona J McEvoy will speak about her research in AI and the Ethics surrounding technology. You will get a chance to interact with the speaker, who was named 1 of 30 Women Influencing AI in San Francisco by RE.WORK and honored in the Brilliant Women in AI EthicsTM Hall of Fame! This institution was established to recognize “brilliant women who have made exceptional contributions to the space of AI Ethics and diversity.”
In addition, you will get an opportunity to learn about Artificial Intelligence, its impact on society, and the ethical implications of technology in general. Attending the event would be great preparation for our AI Ethics Lab Fellowship, which is an upcoming competition in the spring.
Please sign up through our Eventbrite if you want to attend! You will also receive the Zoom link from the sign-up page.
If you have any questions regarding the event or in general, please feel free to contact us through our Instagram account. Thank you and Happy New Year!
