2020 AI Ethics Lab

Fellows worked in 6-8 member cohorts to learn, discuss, and attend workshops. At the end of the 2 month period, each cohort presented a final deliverable, during which members of the outstanding teams would win prizes.

We had seven different workshops featuring experts in the field including Microsoft researcher Michael Madaio, Stanford University research fellow Geoff Keeling, Berkeley EECS Doctoral Student Andrea Bajcsy, Seattle University professor Nathan Colaner, and more.

There were a total of 130+ attendees in 15 cohorts, ranging from 13 to 21 years old. They are located in different parts of the world with a diverse background, yet everyone was able to come together and discuss the importance of AI Ethics.
